Job Summary
Engage with residents personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their behavior to ensure comfort and well-being. Provide social and emotional support to encourage resident independence. Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control. Use Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders as needed. This part-time role offers 3pm-11pm shifts with pay ranging from $19.25 to $23 per hour, including shift differentials for evening and overnight work. The employer provides comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Certified Medication Technician with the MD Board of Nursing and in good standing
- 18 years of age or older
- Respect for patient rights and confidentiality
- Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role
- Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job
Desired Qualifications
- Prior direct-care experience preferred
- Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred
- Highly organized skills
