Job Summary
Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician's orders, company standards, and federal/state regulations under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of functioning while promoting their ability to adapt and adjust to independent living safely. Requires successful completion of the Certified Medication Technician and Certified Nursing Assistant programs with current certifications and in-services. Minimum of three months experience in basic nursing procedures is required for this Monday-Friday, 11p-7a shift role at Piedmont Crossing, a not-for-profit CCRC in Davidson County, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Minimum of three (3) months work experience in basic nursing procedures for nursing assistants
- Successfully completed the Certified Medication Technician program and has current certification
- Successfully completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and has current certification and current in-services
- Minimum age of 18 years or older
