Job Summary
Provide medication assistance for residents by pouring, preparing, and administering drugs while maintaining accurate documentation and secure cart storage. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed. Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activities while observing for changes in physical or behavioral conditions and reporting promptly to a licensed nurse. Complete all required documentation including incident reports and behavior tracking. Uphold residents' rights and company policies while supporting care philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Kentucky Medication Aide Certification
- Minimum of 1-year of previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required)
- Minors must be at least 16 years of age

- A high school diploma or equivalent
