Job Summary
Certified Medication Assistant (CRMA) in an awake overnight position with full-time shifts Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun 6am-2pm and part-time Sat and Mon 2pm-10pm. Provides medication assistance (pouring, preparing, administering, documenting) for residents, maintains the medication cart/storage room, ensures accurate counts and security, assists with activities of daily living, engages residents in social/activity opportunities, and adheres to Residents’ Rights and company policies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent preferred and completion of Medication Aide training/certification where required by state; prior CNA experience in elderly residential/long-term care settings preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1-year of previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must complete Medication Aide training (and certification in states where required)
