Job Summary
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents' responses, and notify the Director of Resident Care of any concerns. Assist residents with medication according to procedures, supervise self-administration, and maintain accurate records including distribution, incidents, and condition changes. Ensure medicine supply room organization, count controlled substances with outgoing RMAs, and manage resident reports. Provide direct resident care, follow emergency procedures, and respond promptly to requests while promoting teamwork. Maintain high personal hygiene standards and attend all required in-service training. Work full-time at Village on the Park Onion Creek, including weekends and holidays, with a rate of $21.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Certified Nurse Assistant with state-approved Medication Assistant Certification
- Current CPR certification
- 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good judgment
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors
