Job Summary
Certified Medication Aide position in an Independent Living/Assisted Living community in Austin, TX. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents, maintain accurate records, assist with EMR training and onboarding, count controlled substances, and support emergency response efforts. Requires HS diploma/GED, state-approved Medication Assistant Certification, CPR, 6 months–1 year of resident care experience with seniors, strong communication and HIPAA awareness. Weekend and holiday availability expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Certified Nurse Assistant with state-approved Medication Assistant Certification
- Current CPR certification
- 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements
