Job Summary
Certified Med Tech/Med-Aide assists residents with medications, receives/organizes/stores meds, monitors vitals and skin health, tracks weight changes, reviews care plans daily, assists with admissions/transfers/discharges, and performs charting and documentation as required by regulation and community protocols. Maintains medication storage organization, confidentiality, and adherence to universal precautions and safety rules; participates in orientation/training and performs other tasks as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Completion of the Qualified Medication Aide program with a current license based on state requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
