Job Summary

Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and Treatment Administration Record (TAR), ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. Provide personal care including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care, while delivering general nursing care such as vital signs, temperatures, blood pressure, and weights. Manage medication inventory by counting narcotics, ordering supplies when stock is low, verifying received medications against pharmacy labels, and maintaining proper storage and dating protocols. Document daily activities in resident logs, answer calls to assist residents with needs, and ensure all medical charts are complete within 48 hours. Maintain accurate records of discontinued medications and participate in required staff training and in-services.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree
  • 1+ months of experience
  • Senior Living preferred
  • Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations
  • Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations
  • Basic computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Superior time management skills
  • Strong team player and a passion for helping seniors

Desired Qualifications

  • One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
