Job Summary
Administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist in providing for residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs through guidance and teaching. Requires Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications, with a 48-hour approved Medication Assistant Course. Full-time day shifts (12-hour rotations) at Woodsedge in Bemidji, MN, with a weekly salary range of $21.10 to $27.47 plus a $10,000 bonus. Eligible employees receive health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), and a generous time off package.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require pre-employment background screening
