Job Summary
Administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist in addressing residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs through guidance and teaching. Requires Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications, with English proficiency. Full-time day shifts (12 hours, 36 weekly hours) at Woodsedge in Bemidji, MN. Includes a $10,000 bonus for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
