Job Summary
Administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist in providing for residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under the guidance and teaching of the Charge Nurse. Requires Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications, English proficiency, and successful completion of the 48-hour Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course. Full-time day shifts with 12-hour rotations at Sanford Health's Woodsedge facility in Bemidji, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
