Job Summary
Administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist residents with physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs while providing teaching and guidance. Requires Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications, English proficiency, and a drug-free workplace policy. Full-time day shifts with a 12-hour schedule and weekly bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
