Job Summary
Administer and document inhalers, eye drops, ear drops, oral, rectal, and topical medications under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Assist in providing for residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs under the guidance and teaching of the Charge Nurse. This full-time day shift role at Woodsedge in Bemidji, MN, requires a Certified Medication Aide with Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications. The position includes a $10,000 bonus for eligible employees and offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Minnesota CNA and TMA certifications
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or ability to become certified within six months of hire date
- Board of Nursing approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) training in state of practice required
- Must be registered with the Minnesota Department of Health as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Must have successfully completed the 48 hour approved Minnesota Trained Medication Assistant Course
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
