Certified Medication Aide

Administer prescribed oral, topical, and rectal medications per physician orders and company policy while maintaining control of the medication cart. Monitor and report adverse reactions or resident status changes, document all administration accurately, and immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse. Ensure safety by following infection control procedures and safeguarding resident confidentiality. Requires current Texas Medication Aide certification, experience in medication administration, and strong attention to detail.
