Job Summary
Administer and record medications for residents as prescribed, while observing and documenting adverse reactions or side effects. Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, and meal service, plus provide transportation to appointments and errands. Respond promptly to resident call signals, emergency calls, and environmental hazards, maintaining safety and confidentiality in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. Requires CNA or Caregiver certification, RMP preferred, and First Aid/CPR. Full-time role on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm, every other weekend) at Artis Senior Living.
Required Qualifications
- CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide certification
- high school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to obtain and/or maintain current First Aid/CPR certification
- willingness to work with the elderly population
- familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia
- willingness to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm, every other weekend)
- willingness to respond to emergency calls and situations
- willingness to obtain and/or maintain current First Aid/CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Medication Partner (RMP) certificate
