Certified Medication Aide

Administer physician-ordered medications and treatments following established clinical guidelines. Perform medication administration across oral, ophthalmic, topical, otic, nasal, vaginal, and rectal routes; including insulin, epinephrine, and B12 as directed. Conduct finger-stick blood glucose testing and administer metered dose inhalers. Prepare and document medications, provide routine patient care (bathing, grooming, dressing), complete dressing changes per guidelines, and report any unusual resident reactions. Ensure proper storage and disposal of medications and maintain accurate resident records.
