Certified Medication Aide

Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications per physician orders and company policy while maintaining control of the medication cart. Monitor and report adverse reactions or changes in resident status, document all administration accurately, and safeguard resident privacy. Follow infection control procedures and immediately report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse. Requires current Texas Medication Aide certification and experience in medication administration procedures.
