Certified Medication Aide

Administer prescribed PO, topical, and rectal medications per physician orders and company policy while maintaining control of the medication cart. Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report any changes in status or medication errors immediately to the Charge Nurse. Document all administration accurately and safeguard resident privacy. Follow infection control procedures and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment. Requires current Texas Medication Aide certification and experience with medication administration procedures.
