Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications (PO, topical, rectal) per physician’s orders and company policy; monitor for adverse reactions and changes in resident status; document all medication administration accurately; maintain control of the medication cart and ensure a safe environment; protect resident privacy and follow infection control procedures; report any medication errors to the Charge Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a current Texas Medication Aide certification
- Experience and competence in medication administration procedures
