Job Summary
Under supervision of the Staff Nurse, administers medications as prescribed by the physician, documents administration and effects, and reports changes; provides assistance with daily living activities and resident care; observes and reports changes in residents’ condition; requires CMA and CNA certifications with experience in skilled nursing/long-term care; equal opportunity employer; benefits include 401(k) with match, ESOP, education funds, and career ladders (CNA, RN, and beyond); ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and continuing education; physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and ability to assist high-risk residents.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment preferred
