Job Summary
Certified Medication Aide (CMA / Level One Medication Aide – L1MA) in Missouri Memory Care communities. Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed staff, verify resident identity prior to administration, document dosage and observations, monitor for adverse reactions, assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility, observe and report changes in resident condition, complete admission/discharge/transfer documentation, support coworkers, perform housekeeping duties, answer calls, greet visitors, and assist with community tours. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, completed CMA/L1MA certification in Missouri, active certification in good standing, willingness to complete Med Level One training if applicable, and 18 years of age or older. Physical requirements include lifting/transferring residents and adhering to PPE and safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri
- Active certification maintained in good standing
- Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community, if applicable
- Must be at least 18 years of age
