Job Summary

Administer prescribed medications under licensed nursing supervision while verifying resident identity and documenting dosage, time, and observations. Monitor residents for medication responses, report adverse reactions, and assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility. Accurately observe and record resident care conditions, food intake, and output, then recognize and report changes in resident status to charge staff. Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required, support coworkers, and perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning rooms and common areas. Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist with community tours. This role functions within an interdisciplinary Memory Care team in Missouri, ensuring resident safety, routine, and dignity in a structured, home-like environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Certified Medication Aide / Med Level One course with certification in the State of Missouri
  • Active certification maintained in good standing
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a Memory Care team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
  • Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach to care
  • Professional communication skills and reliability
  • Lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Assist with resident transfers
  • Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs.
  • Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.
  • Follow proper resident care procedures, including two-person lifts when required
  • Utilize required PPE to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • Report work-related injuries within 12 hours and complete required documentation
  • Participate in company drug testing procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Willingness to complete Med Level One training at the community, if applicable
