Job Summary
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) sought to provide daily living support, medication administration, health monitoring, and engaging resident-centered care in a 90-bed skilled nursing environment. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and medication passing; delivering emotional support and companionship; conducting routine vital checks; communicating with residents, families, and healthcare team; facilitating recreational and therapeutic activities; and adhering to infection control protocols. Requires active Iowa CNA certification (or ability to activate) and Iowa-appropriate CMA certification (or ability to activate). Emphasis on resident care, professionalism, and teamwork. Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa, or the ability to activate certification
- Valid certification as a Medication Aide. Medication Aide must be valid within the state of Iowa, or ability to activate
