Job Summary
Obtain medication reports from licensed nurses, administer medications accurately to residents, and observe for adverse effects. Document resident care related to medication administration, notify licensed nurses of condition changes or errors, and verify narcotic counts. Follow comprehensive care plans, perform Certified Nurse Aide duties, participate in community education, and store medications appropriately while monitoring expiration dates. Respond to resident calls promptly and observe infection control procedures. Requires Texas CMA certification, CPR preferred, and Saturday/Sunday double weekend shifts with full-time benefits including next-day pay.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Saturday and Sunday (Full Time) Baylor Pay/ Baylor Shift
- Certified Medication Aide in the State of Texas
Desired Qualifications
- CPR certification (preferred)
