Job Summary
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications to residents in an Assisted Living community per prescribed care plans, document administration per state standards, observe for reactions, take vital signs as needed, keep the medication room and med cart clean and orderly, complete narcotic counts, and file incident reports for medication errors or unusual events. Requires CMA certification, Texas certification, CPR certification, and a HS diploma or GED; 1+ year experience preferred or Buckner training; friendly, service-oriented attitude with knowledge of basic healthcare practices and infection control.
