Job Summary
Provide safe, accurate medication administration under licensed nursing supervision; verify resident identity, document dosage and observations; monitor responses and report adverse events; assist with activities of daily living; maintain accurate documentation per state regulations and Americare policies; collaborate with nursing staff to ensure resident safety and person-centered care; perform light housekeeping and assist with admissions/discharges as required; lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., and assist with transfers using two-person lifts when needed; maintain PPE usage and participate in drug testing as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements
- Active CMA certification in good standing
