Job Summary
Administer medications to residents under RN direction while providing personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and adjunct care including enemas and non-sterile dressings. Check vital signs, test urine, and document intake and output information. Transport patients, answer call lights, and report observations to the nursing supervisor. Complete forms, logs, and records while adhering to hospital policies, federal, state, and local requirements. Maintain licensure and participate in educational opportunities. Requires proper state licensing, CMA certification, and CNA experience. Salary range $20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Proper licensing in state of the job
- Experience in administering oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic medications and subcutaneous injections
- Previous CMA experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Ability to proceed in a courteous and professional manner
