Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the Medication Administration Record (MAR) and Treatment Administration Record (TAR), ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. Provide personal care including bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and incontinence care, while monitoring vital signs and documenting all concerns in daily logs. Manage medication inventory by counting narcotics, ordering supplies when stock drops below seven days, and conducting weekly deep cleaning of medicine carts. Verify all received medications against pharmacy labels, date vials, and remove discontinued drugs from carts. Maintain accurate medical charts for admissions and readmissions within forty-eight hours, attend required staff training, and respond to resident calls as assigned. Weekend and evening availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend and evening availability
- Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations
- Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations
- Basic computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Superior time management skills
- Strong team player and a passion for helping seniors
- A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ months of experience
- Senior Living preferred
