Job Summary
Administer medications to residents in accordance with state regulations while maintaining accurate narcotic counts and medication charts. Provide skilled personal assistance with bathing, dressing, oral care, grooming, and meal preparation for special dietary needs. Ensure resident safety through focused interaction, activities, and monitoring of behavior, appetite, and sleeping habits. Maintain current resident care logs, charts, and records while keeping the home clean, orderly, and safe. Report any changes, accidents, or incidents to the Nursing Supervisor or On Call immediately. Adhere to company policies, attend required training, and monitor property conditions including yard upkeep and trash removal.
Required Qualifications
- Currently certified and in good standing by the State of Kansas as a Certified Medication Aide, or equivalent that allow for the legal administration of medication in our home
- Currently certified and in good standing by the State of Kansas as a Certified Nurse Aid
- Successful completion of HOTFH Orientation and Training Programs
- Heavy lifting with assistance

- Repetitive motions (i.e. sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
- Pushing / Pulling a minimum of 50 pounds (i.e. moving furniture)
- Standing for long periods of time (min. 1 hour, i.e. passing meds, washing dishes, cooking, showering assistance)
