Job Summary
Functions as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) within Cardinal Ritter Senior Services’ Skilled Nursing Communities, administering and documenting medications by non-parenteral routes, observing resident responses, and informing the nursing team. Performs duties related to medication control, storage, and reorder processes, assists residents with activities of daily living, and supports the nursing care plan. Maintains infection control practices, records vital signs and weights as ordered, administers oxygen, and participates in medication exchanges. Requires CNA certification in Missouri, completion of the Missouri CMT program, insulin administration readiness, CPR certification, and EHR literacy. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior adults are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant and in good standing in the state of Missouri
- Must have successfully completed the Certified Medication Technician training program for the state of Missouri and be in good standing
- Must have successfully completed or be willing to complete the Insulin Administration Program within three months of hire
- Must have current CPR certification or be willing to become CPR certified
- Electronic Health Record literate
