Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (Remote)

Job Summary
Maintain positive relationships with medical staff leadership while representing administrative issues to foster collaboration between physicians and management. Manage assigned medical staff committees, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements. Track license and certification expirations for all providers, monitor FPPE processes, and assist in credentialing functions to ensure timely renewals. Maintain the medical staff database, official rosters, and call schedules while managing dues and fees. Publish and maintain emergency department call schedules and support the peer review process. Work full-time 8-hour day shifts in a remote environment for Adventist Health Clear Lake.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) by the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
- Must be able to receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Must acknowledge and understand E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- High School Education/GED or equivalent
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Two years' experience in a medical staff services department or other related setting
