Job Summary
Coordinate reception duties, including greeting patients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and processing registrations and payments. Assist with direct patient care under supervision, such as positioning patients for procedures, administering medications, and collecting vital signs and lab specimens. Maintain patient flow to minimize wait times and conduct post-procedure follow-up calls. Ensure compliance with safety policies and confidentiality standards while completing required training. Requires High School diploma, medical assistant certification, and previous physician office experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from a recognized medical assistant training course or equivalent clinical experience
- Current CMA (AAMA), NCMA or CCMA certification
- BLS certification
- Previous physician office experience
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy experience
- EKG experience
- Previous billing experience
