Job Summary
Facilitate patient care during office visits by performing triage, updating medical histories, and assisting providers with examinations and minor surgical procedures. Administer ordered medications, coordinate scheduling for ancillary services and diagnostic tests, and handle phone calls from hospitals and nursing homes to ensure continuity of care. Explain treatment procedures to patients as applicable while maintaining exam rooms and back office supplies. Adhere to HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and office policies. Note: This role offers a $2,000 hire incentive and requires certification; candidates must not refer to themselves as nurses or licensed personnel.
