Job Summary
Prepare exam rooms, take vital signs, and document medical histories while assisting providers with procedures, injections, and point-of-care testing. Perform in-office diagnostics like EKGs and phlebotomy, administer medications per instructions, and maintain accurate EMR documentation. Conduct pre-visit chart reviews, coordinate patient flow, process referrals, and support front desk operations. Participate in daily huddles, deliver patient education, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Full-time role in Farmingdale, NJ, with a $19–$25 hourly rate, PTO, and health benefits. Join a collaborative primary care team focused on quality outcomes and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- May require light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
- Must have visual and auditory acuity to operate computer systems and phones
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a medical office or ambulatory healthcare setting
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR)
