Job Summary
Room patients, collect patient information, prepare patients for examinations, assist with procedures, and support overall delivery of patient care in the Urology department. Works as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced setting. Requires MA program graduation and national certification; WA Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months; Epic/EHR experience preferred; BLS required. Schedule: four 10-hour days, 7:00a-5:30p with no weekends or late nights. Location: Vancouver, WA with flexibility to cover Salmon Creek as needed. Compensation starts at $22.25/hour with a pay range dependent on experience; benefits and total rewards program available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification from national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.) required
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire required
- Current healthcare provider BLS required
- Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
