Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians with medical procedures and treatments. Record vital signs, medical histories, and other information accurately in patient charts. Manage clinical logistics by preparing treatment rooms and maintaining supplies and equipment. Perform essential clerical duties, including answering phones, filing, and maintaining patient records. This full-time role at Ascension St. Vincent's Health Center Town Center in Jacksonville, FL, supports the urgent care team in delivering patient-centered care within a nonprofit Catholic health system.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted BLS Provider
- Medical Assistant certification obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
