Job Summary
Team Lead Medical Assistant role supports Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients through patient care management, organization, and communication. Responsible for supervising Rad Techs and Medical Assistants, ensuring accurate, high-quality, timely activities while aligning with the urgent care vision and values (Collaboration, Innovation, Diversity & Inclusion, Integrity, Accountability). The position emphasizes collaboration with providers and care teams, coordinating with on-site management and directing daily workflow to deliver effortless on-demand care across 250+ centers nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of Medical Assistant Program (preferred)
- 1+ years Medical Assistant experience under licensed healthcare supervisor within last 3 years (preferred)
- CPOE must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire if MA Certification not obtained upon hire (required)
- One of the following certifications required: ARMA, CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA (or NCCT, NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.)
- Or equivalent nursing certifications allowed at hire: Accredited Nursing or LPN or RN, EMT, CNA
- Valid State Driver’s License
- MVR background check required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required or obtained within 15 months of hire
