Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant position at Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA. Provides medical assistant services to patients and families, supports physicians and mid-level providers, administers medications and vaccines, performs venipuncture and limited on-site lab tests, maintains medical records and inventory, schedules appointments, handles triage calls, and ensures patient flow and safety. Uses Meditech and other EMR systems, communicates effectively with patients and staff, and upholds confidentiality and aseptic technique. Requires graduation from a medical assistant program, certification, and BLS Cardiopulmonary Skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of a medical assistant program.
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider card.
