Job Summary
Assist the clinical team in providing patient care per hospital policy and procedure under the direct supervision of a Medical Provider, LPN, or RN. Perform approved clinical and non-clinical tasks and technical procedures while maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EMRCPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. Requires a high school diploma, current CMA certification, and at least five years of medical office or health-care facility experience. Some college in a medical, business, or health-care focus is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program
- 5 years minimum of medical office or health-care facility experience
- Computer experience
- Microsoft office
- EMRCPT
- ICD-10
- HCPCS coding
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

- Some college preferred — medical, business or health-care focus
