Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant provides patient care in ambulatory clinic settings under physician supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with examinations and discharges, preparing treatment rooms, documenting medical information in electronic health records, measuring vital signs, performing routine patient testing and specimen collection, administering routine medications and injections, wound care, maintaining confidentiality, coordinating follow-up appointments and referrals, and supporting front desk and data entry tasks. Travel locally to outreach clinic locations as needed; maintain compliance with safety standards and contribute to cross-department coverage as required.
