Certified Medical Assistant/Scribe - FT

Greet and prepare patients for examination by obtaining and documenting medical histories, vital signs, and pertinent information in the electronic medical record. Accurately document patient encounters, physician notes, and treatment plans in the EHR system while assisting physicians during examinations and procedures. Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, injections, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and medication administration as directed. Assist with electronic prescription processing, medication refills, and preparing examination rooms to ensure equipment is clean and operational. Complete medical records, referrals, prior authorizations, and other clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies. Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and team members in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
