Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant works under supervision to perform clinical duties including assisting the physician in providing quality care in a medical office setting. Must demonstrate knowledge to provide age-appropriate care across the life span, interpret assessments related to growth and development, and be knowledgeable of health insurance guidelines for preauthorizations and referrals; also responsible for scheduling testing and specialist visits within network guidelines.
