Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant position in a multi-specialty physician practice (Neurosurgery, Interventional Pain Management, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic) supporting patient care in a two-site workflow. Responsibilities include documenting patient histories, assisting with in-office procedures, order entry and submission (ePrescribing, labs, imaging, procedures), managing patient inquiries, responding to pharmacy refill requests, and assisting with injections, casting, splinting, and suturing. Requires accurate use of EHR systems (Athena a plus) and strong teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting. Schedule is full-time (40 hrs/week) with 3 days in Haddonfield, NJ and 2 days in Mount Laurel, NJ. Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Solid working knowledge of EHR systems; Athena knowledge a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
