Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant provides patient care under supervision of a medical provider and supports clinical and administrative functions. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures (vital signs, wound care, suture removal, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs, splints), preparing and cleaning exam rooms, patient intake, reporting results, triage, documentation, and managing registrations, referrals, and insurance verification. Requires proficiency in medical office procedures, EMR, Microsoft Office/Google Suite, infection control, strong interpersonal skills, time management, and ability to educate patients on medications and diets. Licensing: CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT and BCLS required; position not eligible for immigration sponsorship; 0-1 years of experience or completion of externship; full-time role in Warsaw, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA required
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) required
- 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program
- US work authorization for any employer; not eligible for immigration sponsorship
