Job Summary
Outpatient Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and providers in ambulatory care, performing direct patient care and clinical support, preparing patients, taking vitals, documenting in the EMR, and assisting with minor procedures, while also providing administrative support such as scheduling, filing, and handling patient inquiries. Requires CMA or RMA certification and HS diploma/GED; offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and Travel may be required; work in a clinical environment under provider supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited 1-year certificate or 2-year diploma Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Certification by one of the listed governing associations: NHA, AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, AAH, or AMCA
- HS Diploma or GED (Education Requirement)
- Basic Life Support Certification within 6 months
