Job Summary
Conduct patient examinations and treatments under provider direction, measuring vital signs, interviewing patients, and recording information on charts. Prepare treatment rooms, perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones and filing, and manage supply ordering and stocking. Maintain a clean environment and document provider encounters by listing diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions. Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Medical Assistant obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
- Must either be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or in school currently to obtain your CMA/RMA
