Job Summary

Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivering PrEP services and primary care for patients living with HIV. Escort patients to exam rooms, perform vital signs, conduct patient interviews, and prepare patients for examinations. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens including phlebotomy, document in the electronic medical record, and conduct triage to schedule appointments. Administer medications and vaccines as directed, authorize medication refills, and perform administrative duties related to patient care. Maintain clinic housekeeping and disinfection of exam rooms while participating in quality improvement activities. Return phone calls within 24 hours and adhere to all state policies regarding patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant
Certified Medical Assistant with at least 2-3 years of experience in clinical setting
At least 2-3 years of experience in clinical setting
Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire
