Job Summary
Room patients quickly and efficiently, perform Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures and vital sign measurements, and update medical records. Assist providers with minor procedures and administer injections while supporting patients through visits, including discharge and follow-ups. Manage medical supplies and maintain a clean work environment in a combination of medical office and exam room settings. This full-time role includes a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm. You must be Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant with at least two years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 2+ years of experience in a medical assistant role
- Highly reliable and committed to team success
- A passion for efficiency, teamwork, and patient-centered care
- Excitement about learning and implementing new technologies to improve clinic workflows
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
