Job Summary
Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Maintain Basic Life Support certification and hold Certified Medical Assistant or National Certified Medical Assistant certification from a recognized organization. Complete one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience if formal education programs are not pursued. This role is part of Piedmont Medical Care Corporation's award-winning care team serving communities across Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant program
- One (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT
