Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Maintain current BCLS certification and hold CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT certification. Complete an accredited medical assistant program or one year of related clinical experience in lieu of formal education. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant program
- One (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT
